There’s no easier way to raise the pitch of your instrument than with a capo, making them the must have accessory for any ukulele player who sings, or accompanies vocalists.

 

For those unfamiliar with capos, the concept is simple – a capo shortens the instruments scale length by creating a new nut, similar to barring a chord. By shortening to scale length in this way, capos allow songs to be instantly transposed to another key without the need to re-tune or learn alternate finger positioning.
